Jennie, Adam, and Anna stayed with us at the cottage Sunday night, and then on Monday morning we drove up to a great amusement park for kids in Green Bay called Bay Beach.  All of the smaller rides cost 25 cents each, while the bigger ones were 50 cents.  Where can you find prices like that any more?   We had a bit of a delay on the way due to Anna’s getting car sick.  We bought her a new shirt at a store along the way (the old one wasn’t fit to wear without washing), and we were all set to go the rest of the way.  (Interesting how a smooth ride in the car can make her sick, but the rides were just fine.)
Any way, everyone got to go on whatever rides they wanted.  Even Grandma went on the helicopter and train.  Papa’s favorites were the Ferris wheel and the bumper cars.  Grandma had made sandwiches for lunch as we ate at a picnic table on their spacious lawn (lots of gulls there, too).  No pictures of the lunch time.  The photographers were on…lunch break.  A very nice day as summer winds down.  Adam and Anna both go all day to school next week (2nd grade and 5K respectively).
