We visited Adam and Anna’s Daycare for a night with Santa.  Mom, who works at the daycare, hosted a place for children to write letters to Santa in her classroom.  After writing (or drawing) their Santa letters, we took the grandkids around to see Santa, make ornaments and reindeer antlers and to a pot-luck dinner.  The highlight of the evening came when Anna’s class performed some Christmas songs for a delighted audience.  We were also proud to see how easily Adam wrote his letter to Santa by himself.  He lost his two front teeth just in time to ask Santa for some new ones this holiday season!
We are also counting down the days until Amber, Drew and our baby grandson, Silas, come home for the holidays.  Hope they are prepared for a "White Christmas", as we’ve had lots and lots of snow.
The music of the holiday season is a big part of our celebrations.  We sang a beautiful cantata with orchestra at our church today and will attend another church concert this afternoon.
